British Airways have announced an extension of their
best ever offer - the chance to enjoy a one-way upgrade
to FIRST when you book and fly Club World return*.
The offer was due to end on 5 December 2004, but it
has been extended for all eligible flights up to 17
December 2004. The offer also applies on a Qantas upgrade
from International Business Class to Qantas First Class**.
Travel must be booked between 7 September and 17 December
2004 and completed between 7 September and 17 December
2004, including flights, which depart on 17 December
and arrive on 18 December 2004 ("the Promotional
Period").

**All full fare return travel from the UK to Australia,

Club World Upgrade Offer - Full Terms and Conditions
1. This promotion is only open to residents in the
United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland aged 18 years
or over ("Participants"). British Airways
Plc ("BA") reserves the right to verify the
eligibility of Participants.
2. Participants who book and travel on a full fare return
flight in Club World (fare basis J2BA only) on a BA
operated mainline service during the Promotional Period
will qualify for an upgrade to FIRST (in booking class
A) on one leg of that return journey at no extra cost.
Travel must be booked between 7 September and 17 December
2004 and completed between 7 September and 17 December
2004, including flights, which depart on 17 December
and arrive on 18 December 2004 ("the Promotional
Period"). There is no limit to the number of times
a Participant may take advantage of this offer during
the Promotional Period. This promotion is not available
for online bookings.
3. Participants who change their travel arrangements
after the date of booking will not be eligible for an
upgrade unless their revised travel arrangements also
qualify under the terms of this promotion; they will
be asked to travel in Club World and if they have already
travelled the outbound flight in FIRST they will be
required to pay the normal FIRST fare applicable in
accordance with BA's standard fare rules.
4. Travel on BA's franchisees, codeshare and alliance
partner airlines will not qualify for this offer, except
for tickets purchased on BA codeshare routes with partner
airline Qantas (London to Singapore, Bangkok, Sydney
or Melbourne only) in full fare Business Class in fare
basis J2QF1 only, where upgrades with such tickets will
be available on Qantas aircraft only. All travel must
start and finish in the UK or Republic of Ireland. All
tickets must be purchased and ticketed in the UK or
Republic of Ireland.
5. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with
any other offer, deal or promotion including: (i) negotiated
"net" corporate fares; (ii) redemption bookings;
(iii) travel agent discounted fares, inclusive holidays,
group discount fares, child/infant fares or senior citizen
fares; or (iv) bookings made with vouchers or coupons
(e.g. shareholder's discount coupon).
6. This promotion is only available on routes offering
FIRST. If the aircraft has to be substituted for one
which does not have a FIRST cabin, Participants will
be seated, subject to availability, in the Club World
cabin.
7. Participants must request the upgrade at the time
of booking. The upgrade can be taken on either the outbound
or return sector. Return bookings where travel starts
and ends at the same UK airport but where the outbound
destination and inbound departure airports are different
(open jaws) are permitted.
8. Upgrades are subject to availability and capacity
control at the time of booking. Seats available for
this promotion on each flight are limited and may be
fully booked during peak periods even though seats are
still available in a different booking class in the
same cabin. BA accepts no responsibility for an inability
to take up this offer if seats in A class are not available
on a given date within the Promotional Period.
9. No upgrades are available on connecting flights,
transfers or add-ons, or any other non-qualifying flights,
which the Participant may wish to take. Upgrades may
not be requested at the airport.
10. Participants who are also Members of the BA Executive
Club will be awarded BA Miles and Tier Points for the
cabin that they actually fly in and are issued for use
subject to the usual terms and conditions of the Executive
Club.
11. Participants who are Members of Qantas Frequent
Flyer program will be awarded points and status credits
for the cabin they fly in.
12. On refundable tickets, the maximum refund will be
the amount actually paid. Upgrades are not transferable
and no cash or credit alternative will be offered.
13. All passengers are carried by BA in accordance with
its General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and
Baggage (copies available on ba.com, at "Privacy
and Legal") and its Notice and Conditions of Contract
as stated on each ticket or itinerary as provided.
14. BA reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms
and conditions of this promotion, without notice, in
the event of a major catastrophe, war, civil or military
disturbance, earthquake or any actual, anticipated or
alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or
any other similar events.
15. This promotion is governed by English law and is
subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English
Courts. Promotional materials form part of these terms
and conditions.
