The jet manufacturer Boeing is claiming that their
new 300-seater jet will help to beat jetlag. According
to announcements made by Boeing, the 7E7 will provide
a more restful journey and allow passengers to arrive
“refreshed rather than exhausted”.
Among the many innovations are a reduced cabin pressure,
which will help passengers with breathing difficulties,
a greater humidity inside the cabin, and larger windows,
which will ensure that the plane’s interior has
as much natural light as possible. Lastly, soft blue
lighting on the cabin ceiling will simulate the sky
and, according to Boeing, this will make the plane seem
bigger and reduce the likelihood of claustrophobia.
