The latest e-ticket news
e-tickets are now available on British Airways, Qantas,
American Airlines, Aer Lingus and Finnair.
As part of British Airways' programme to achieve 100
% e-ticket by December 2004*, their electronic ticketing
system is now available when your journey includes British
Airways and OneWorld partners American Airlines,
Qantas, Aer Lingus and Finnair, as part of your itinerary.
This means you can now use e-ticket the next time you
travel to Australia, Singapore or Thailand with British
Airways and Qantas, Europe with Aer Lingus or Finnair,
or to the USA in conjunction with British Airways and
American Airlines.
As you may have already experiences, there are a number
of benefits when travelling on an e-ticket itinerary:
- e-tickets contain all the details of your booking,
so all you need to bring to the airport is your passport
and a confirmation itinerary or receipt.
- As the tickets are electronic, it's impossible to
lose them and they can't be stolen.
- With e-ticket, travel details can be changed up
to 30 minutes before check-in closes**, so there's
no need to wait for a new ticket to arrive.
* Date subject to change.
** If you have a flexible ticket.
