Air France and Delta Air Lines have signed a joint
venture agreement to share revenues and costs on their
trans-Atlantic routes. This joint venture is expected
to increase revenues, competition and customer travel
choice on key routes across the Atlantic .
As part of this agreement, Air France is to launch
daily services from London Heathrow to Los Angeles in
April 2008, operated by Air France using B777-200 aircraft.
Equipped with the Air France 3 class service - l´Espace
Première (First Class), l´Espace Affaires
(Business Class), and Tempo (Economy) - customers will
have access to lie-flat beds in both First and Business
Class, individual video screens across all three classes,
and French cuisine and fine wines.
