Flights from Cardiff to Edinburgh , Glasgow and Newcastle
and from Belfast and Glasgow to Paris are the business
highlights of a significant route expansion by Flybe
next summer.
The airline has announced 23 new routes which will
start at the end of March or in early May.
Mike Rutter, Flybes chief commercial officer,
said: The all new summer schedule for 2008 sees
Flybe continuing to grow across the UK and Europe with
a large number of new routes on sale. The latest routes
show us cementing our position as Europe s largest
regional carrier in key areas, building Flybe into a
bigger and stronger airline with a long-term commitment
to offering sustainable, reliable and convenient travel
to our passengers.
The other routes to be launched are Aberdeen to Exeter,
Jersey and Southampton; Birmingham to Inverness and
Newquay; Doncaster to Jersey; Edinburgh to Rennes; Exeter
to Aberdeen, Brussels, Dubrovnik and Inverness; Glasgow
to La Rochelle and Newquay; Inverness to Birmingham,
Exeter, Manchester and Southampton; Isle of Man to Liverpool
and Newquay; Newquay to Barcelona (Reus) and Southampton.
