Lufthansa's new Berlin-London City service

19th September 2007

Lufthansa is to fly to Berlin-Tegel from London City Airport from January 2008.

Starting 15 January, the airline will operate two flights a day between the two cities, increasing to three a day from the beginning of the summer 2008 timetable.

The flights will be operated by Lufthansa partner Eurowings, using BAe 146-200 jets seating 89 passengers, and will offer early morning and evening departures in both directions.

Lufthansa operates services to Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf, Hamburg and Nuremberg from the Docklands airport. Services to Stuttgart restart next month.
