Lufthansa is launching two new services to China ,
bringing its total number of destinations in the country
to five. The two new services are Frankfurt-Nanjing
and Munich-Shenyang.
The Nanjing service starts on 31 March 2008 and will
operate five times a week. Nanjing is on the Yangtze
River Delta about 270 kilometres west of Shanghai and
has a large inland port. It is an important city in
the automotive industry.
Services to Shenyang , an industrial centre in China
s north-east, start from 8 June. Flights will
operate three times a week with a stopover in Seoul
. Shenyang is important in the aviation, automobile
and IT sectors
