SWISS is to add a weekly direct flight from Manchester
to Geneva from December 16.
The new scheduled route is the first new direct route
out of Manchester since the addition of Basel in January
2007.
Frequencies to Basel will in winter 2007 and January
2008 be increased to up to six weekly flights.
The new Sunday Geneva flight will be operated by an
Avro RJ100, leaving Manchester at 09:40 and arriving
in Geneva at 11:50.
The return fight leaves at 12:30 and arrives back in
Manchester at 14:40.
The route is set to run until March 23.
