ID Requirements for UK domestic travel

ID Requirements for UK domestic travel

ID required

Starting from 1 September 2023, it will be necessary for you to carry valid photographic identification when embarking on UK domestic flights. This identification will be requested at specific points during your journey. Kindly note that failure to provide this identification could result in being unable to proceed with your travel plans.

Valid forms of ID

While a passport is not mandatory for domestic travel within the UK, it is important to carry a form of photographic ID when flying with us. Acceptable forms of ID include:

  1. Valid Passport
  2. Valid driving license, either provisional or full
  3. Valid EU national identity card
  4. Valid armed forces identity card
  5. Valid police warrant card or badge.

For children under the age of 16, identification is not mandatory when traveling on domestic flights. However, the accompanying adult must possess photographic identification and be able to verify their own identity.

For unaccompanied children aged 14 and 15, identification will be required when traveling on domestic flights.

New Out of Hours Procedure

New Out of Hours Procedure

Wayte Travel Management will soon be updating the process for contacting our Out of Hours ( Emergency ) team.

The changes we are making are designed to get all the vital information into a central database as efficiently as possible,

so any request can be prioritized. We expect, through these changes, to dramatically improve response times.

From 16th  April,  we are introducing an alternative to calling our team. All information our teams require can be uploaded to a form via our secure URL link.

The form will ask you to complete information that is required by the team in preparation for dealing with your enquiry. You can find out the contact details for each office below.

If you are unsure which office you book through, you can find the details on your itineraries or on any e-mail correspondence with your regular designated consultant.
