Wayte Travel Management has announced that former Sales Director, Garry Lloyd has been promoted to the position of Managing Director, with former Managing Director, Chris Morris moving to the role of Chairman.
Garry joined the company in February 2007 following Wayte Travel’s acquisition of Executive and Business Travel and during his time with the company has held many positions including in the reservations team and more recently as Sales Director. As a result of such experience, Garry is extremely knowledgeable about client requirements and has been pivotal in recent advancements in the technology and services Wayte Travel can provide.
Garry had this to say about his promotion
‘It is an honour and a huge privilege to become Managing Director of Wayte Travel Management and I am immensely proud to do so. I have been with the company for over 17 years and have witnessed some huge changes during that time but we have never moved away from what makes us popular amongst our client base, good service. That will continue under my supervision.
I must acknowledge the incredible support I have had from the owner, Chris Morris, and I am excited to repay his faith in me.
We have all of the ingredients to continue on our successful growth pathway including the best staff in the industry, the right mix of tech and customer care and supportive 3rd party partners. We really are hoping to be a force in the travel market for a long time to come.’

Garry will now manage the 58 members of staff across the offices in Jersey, Stoke-on-Trent and London, ensuring that the exceptional levels of customer service the Wayte Travel Management brand has been built upon is coupled with the very best technology that the industry has to offer.
