Testing requirements have changed for passengers arriving in England

From the 11th of February 2022, fully vaccinated travellers arriving into England are no longer required to conduct any COVID testing. Boris Johnson announced on the 24th of January 2022 that the lateral flow tests required on or before day two of arriving in England would be scrapped. This follows previous changes in which pre-departure tests were removed for England arrivals from the 7th of January 2022.

Transport Secretary, Grant Shapps then confirmed the testing requirements when addressing the House of Commons later that day. Shapps, also confirmed that rules have also been eased for unvaccinated travellers, who will no longer have to take a day eight test, unvaccinated travels will still require a pre-departure and day two test.
