At Wayte Travel we have developed the following sustainability policy to guide our actions and ensure that we are doing our part to create a sustainable future:
We encourage our clients to know the impact of their travel, providing free CO2 reports, enabling our clients to offset any business travel they conduct.
We are committed to reducing our energy consumption by using energy-efficient appliances and encouraging staff to turn off equipment when not in use. We also strive to reduce our carbon footprint by utilising renewable energy sources where possible.
We aim to minimise waste generation by adopting the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle. We encourage our staff to use reusable items and to recycle as much as possible, including paper, cardboard, and plastic.
Sustainability is a key part of our decision making process when purchasing or entering contracts with suppliers. We like to understand the impact of any agreement the business makes.
Monitoring and Reporting:
We have appointed a sustainability manager who will review and update this policy on an annual basis. The policy owner will also set and monitor KPIs to keep track of how sustainable the business is.
